Nominations are required initially. Nomination deadline has closed for 2024. All entries must be advised they must be either dual registered in the American Wagyu Association and the Australian Wagyu Association or at the minimum, be recorded in the Australian Wagyu Association herd book. It is to the advantage of all consignors to have had their entries submitted to breed plan to provide the buyers the opportunity to realize and reward the merit of the Cattle on offer.

If bidding online you must contact the sales company via the phone or online while the lot is still open and has not yet closed. All lots sell at the fall of the hammer.

The entry fee is $100. All entries must go through a nomination process beforehand.

Same as any livestock auction, however with the standard format used by thebigtexassale.com. There may be a reserve placed by the consignor on any entry. If the lot fails to reach the reserve the lot will not be sold. This reserve may be a hidden reserve which will not come into play once the bidding has surpassed it. If the lot does not sell, the sales company may (with the consignor’s approval) offer the lot to the underbidder. Many lots will sell with no reserve, and that do not incur no commission from the sales company.

Payment is required at the end of the sale. Wire info is available from the sales office.

All sales are final at the fall of the hammer. Payment is expected at the close of the sale. All sales are final.
